About
The Own Song Contests, is a franchise of five online song contests on Song Contests Forum, Youtube and Discord, held primarily among the member countries of several Broadcasting Unions. The current and official executive supervisors are several council members.

Each country's head of delegation gets to select an entry for each edition either by internal or national selection. Then the countries get to vote for each show (quarter-final, semi-final or final) to determine the qualifiers and the winner of the edition. Read more...

Latest Edition
Own Asiavision Song Contest 32, often referred to as OASC #32, is the 32nd edition of Own Asiavision Song Contest. The contest took place in Hanoi, Vietnam, following the country's victory in the 31st edition with the song "1 cọng tóc mai" by Tóc Tiên feat. Touliver. It was the first time that Vietnam had hosted the contest. Organised by the Own Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union and host broadcaster Vietnam Television, the contest was held at the Mỹ Đình National Stadium, and consisted of two semi-finals and the final. The three live shows were hosted by Hana Vu, Phạm Hanni from NewJeans, Tóc Tiên and Veronica Ngô.

Forty-eight countries participated in the contest. Micronesia made its debut this edition. Christmas Island, India, Indonesia, Palestine, Qatar and Tonga returned to the competition, while Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, Timor-Leste and Vanuatu withdrew for various reasons.

The winner was Philippines with the song "4 Myself", performed by AC Bonifacio and written by her along with Jeremy G, Jonathan Manalo and Nate Porcalla. This was country's second victory in the contest after having previously won the seventheenth edition. The podium was completed by Malaysia and Taiwan, while Laos, Palestine and Kuwait rounded out the top six. Three out of this edition's automatic qualifiers ended up in the top six again. Puerto Rico debuted in the first edition of Own Americavision Song Contest and has participated in every edition since then. The country won the contest twice; once with the song "Fight Like a Man" by Angie Rose in the ninth edition and with the song "Dying on the Inside" by Nessa Barrett in the fifteenth edition. The country has also been in the top five six times. Their entries were selected through internal selection. However, the broadcaster held a national final for the twelfth edition to select an entry for their representative. The country hosted the tenth edition at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan and the sixteenth edition at the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium in Bayamón.

The country's latest winning entry "Dying on the Inside", earned 232 points, this being their best scored entry. Puerto Rico has been an automatic qualifier 6 times. The country failed to qualify to the grand final once in the third edition, ending on the 14th place in the semi-final.

Since its debut in the first edition, Puerto Rico has competed in every edition, and is one of the few countries to do so, together with Barbados, Canada, Dominica, Guyana and United States. The country has won the contest twice. Its first victory was with Nuyorican singer Angie Rose, who performed the song "Fight Like a Man" in the ninth edition, and the second time the country has won the fifteenth edition with the song "Dying on the Inside", performed by New Jersey-native Nessa Barrett. Puerto Rico has been an automatic qualifier 6 times, the most remarkable being the two auto-qualifications in a row in the tenth and eleventh editions. In the tenth edition it became the best scored host entry after ending third in the grand final. This record was ultimately broken by Canada in the fourteenth edition. Andree Camille Lapidario Bonifacio (born December 13, 2002), known professionally as AC Bonifacio, is a Canadian-born Filipino dancer, singer, vlogger and actress known for being the first ever grand champion of Filipino TV dance competition Dance Kids along with Lucky Ancheta In 2016. The duo was called "Lucky Aces." Before winning the said competition, the duo was featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and had a chance to meet and perform with American popstar Ariana Grande on Grande's show in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2015. Bonifacio also competed on the Kids edition of Philippine TV Show Your Face Sounds Familiar (season 1) where she finished as 3rd placer. She also made her acting debut on Wansapanataym Presents: The Amazing Ving in which she played "Mika".

AC Bonifacio represented Philippines in the Own Asiavision Song Contest 32 with the song "4 Myself" and went on to win the competition, giving the country its second win.

The upbeat pop track radiates positivity and self-assurance combined with danceable rhythms and catchy melodies. AC composed the song with ABS-CBN creative director Jonathan Manalo, Jeremy G, and BGYO member Nate Porcalla. The inspiration of "4 Myself" came from her previous single, "Fool No Mo." It has the same female empowerment message that the artist wants to share. It's a song that gives you the confidence and power to get through everything you're going through.
